Los Angeles, CA – Following in the messaging footsteps of Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz, Eric Swalwell & Democratic super PAC Progress Action Fund, creators of “Keep Republicans Out Of Your Bedroom,” announced a creepy new ad for the 2024 elections. “GOP: Grand Old Perverts,” which was produced and paid for by Progress Action Fund, shows a Republican congressman killing a Medicare patient by refusing to pay for a life-saving procedure. The Congressman dryly consoles the dying patient’s family, reassuring them that Medicare still covers Viagra, with the Congressman then asking the doctor for a “refill” as the patient flatlines.

The ad is a sequel to Progress Action Fund’s viral and critically acclaimed ads “Keep Republicans Out Of Your Bedroom,” “Republicans Watching Your Daughter,” and “Republicans Stealing Your Baby.”
All four ads, which will run in swing states on streaming services, connected TVs, and on online platforms, is part of a $250,000 buy that is paid for by Progress Action Fund.
“The Republican Party is led by weird old men who are committed to defunding Medicare and taking healthcare away from millions of Americans,” said Joe Jacobson, Founder of Progress Action Fund.

On numerous occasions, Donald Trump said he would cut Medicare and released budgets as president that would slash the program. Republicans in the House and those part of Project 2025 are also trying to defund Medicare and privatize it, which would lead to serious increases in costs for seniors across America. Despite blocking legislation to protect access to contraceptives and women’s reproductive services, Republicans year in and year out have made it possible for Medicare to cover erectile dysfunction medications.
After becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has conducted a meaningful and important tactical change from President Biden’s recently ended campaign. Rather than focus on the “threat to democracy,” the Harris campaign has prudently chosen to describe Republicans as weird and creepy. Democratic leaders across the country, most notably Governor Tim Walz, have used these words to describe Trump and Vance’s abnormal and abhorrent behavior and policies.
