New Ad Shows Republican Congressman Stopping Young Man From Watching Porn

Los Angeles, CA – With Trump on an all-out blitz to win young men, Democratic super PAC Progress Action Fund, creators of “Keep Republicans Out Of Your Bedroom,” announced a creepy new ad for the 2024 elections. The new ad “Republicans Rubbing You The Wrong Way” shows a young man enjoying some alone time, only for a Republican congressman to take away his phone because the GOP has banned pornography.

This ad is a part of the $2.5 million ad buy announced by Progress Action Fund last week. This ad and PAF’s other viral ads will are running on connected TVs, streaming services, and online platforms in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and North Carolina.

“The Republican Party is led by weird old men who are committed to invading our bedrooms,” said Joe Jacobson, Founder of Progress Action Fund.

As a 30-year-old guy myself, the GOP’s insistence on legislating our personal lives and decisions is disturbing and unacceptable. That is why we’re working to ensure everyone knows that the G.O.P really stands for ‘Grand Old Perverts.’”

16 states have increased their porn restrictions in the past few years, and 25 states have had anti-porn bills introduced in 2023 alone. In Utah, the GOP-controlled government has already passed a law that would require all devices manufactured, sold, or activated within Utah to come with a porn filter. The filter can’t be removed until the owner’s age is verified with the State. This law goes into effect once 5 states pass a similar law. 11 states have already introduced similar bills.  In Project 2025, Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts calls for “Pornography to be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned.

Numerous experts from across the political spectrum praised the ad, including Larry Sabato, Joy Reid, Leland Vittert, Geraldo Rivera, and Nicolle Wallace, who said the ad should be an instant finalist for the “political ad hall of fame.”
