The six-figure streaming and online buy will target voters living in what should be California’s six most competitive districts under the new maps, starring a generic Republican House member who could lose his job. It’s a reminder that enshrining new Democrat-friendly maps is only the first step for Democrats, and that flipping a handful of Republican-controlled seats is still no guarantee.
